
First Batch of Ambulances Cleared at Malé Commercial Harbour
First Consignment of 18 Ambulances Cleared
Malé, 29 November 2025 - Under a project awarded by the Ministry of Health, the first 18 ambulances out of a total of 56 units have been successfully cleared from Malé Commercial Harbour.
The new ambulances are part of the Government’s ongoing efforts to strengthen emergency medical response capacity across the Maldives. Maldives Ports Limited, in coordination with the Ministry of Health, inspected this second batch of ambulances to ensure smooth delivery and compliance with import requirements. The first batch was inspected last month.
MPL continues to work closely with the Ministry of Health to support the smooth handling, inspection, and clearance of essential medical equipment and vehicles, contributing to the timely implementation of this important national project.
